The fiber inventory in the studio is a little out of hand, so I’m working on dyeing up some of the fiber that I don’t carry on a regular basis. While the colors in the listing are repeatable, I don’t have anymore of this fiber on hand and probably won’t be bringing it in again anytime soon, so please consider this a one-of-a-kind fiber opportunity!

Description
This five ounce Gray Shetland Spinning Setincludes one ounce quantities of each of the following colors: (clockwise from top left) Aqua Shock, Maize, Peacock, Turquoise, and Ocean Green.
Shetland sheep are known for their wide variations in color marking patterns, many of which have their own characteristics as you work with them. Staple lengths can range anywhere from 2-4.5″ to 6-10.” Shetlands are dual coated sheep, though there is variation in this characteristic as well. This fiber was a natural gray with gently visible darker striations throughout. Occasional coarser guard hairs may be present but can easily be removed as you spin if you’d prefer they not be in your finished yarn.
Recommended care: Hand wash cool, hang or lay flat to air dry.This fiber will felt.
Dyes have been heat set and the fiber has been rinsed prior to shipping, however minor amounts of residual dye may be present in water upon the first couple of soaks.
All of our yarns and fibers are individually hand-dyed using professional grade acid dyes. Colorway names are consistent between yarns/fibers dyed with the same dye colors, however color strengths can (and likely will) vary between skeins and between different bases.
We make every effort to assure the colors in our photos are as accurate as possible, but please note that colors can vary from monitor to monitor.
