The A Middle Earth Winter Holiday Countdown Collections listed here are the extras we have available at this time. We may have a couple more in the next week or so once our final international orders arrive at their destinations, so please check back if you want to see what else might become available. A couple of these collections have notes regarding the “extras” content in them, so please read carefully to know what you’re ordering.

US orders should arrive prior to December 1, but I cannot guarantee that. It is unlikely that international orders of these items will arrive before December 1.

A Middle Earth Winter Holiday Countdown Collections will take you into the world of J. R. R. Tolkien’s Middle Earth, with colorways inspired by its landscapes and the people and creatures who dwell there. The colorways will explore the possibilities of Middle Earth in winter, bringing a new dimension to this much-loved world of fantasy. Consider it fan fiction, written in yarn and fiber!

This year’s collections will be full of the nature-inspired shades inherent to Middle Earth’s landscape and the rich colors of all that’s found therein. Overlaid with the theme of Winter, seasonal colors reflecting both shadow and light will also grace these variegated and tonal colorways.

What will the 2023 collections include? 

• The yarn or fiber collection of your choice
• Random surprise goodies in some days’ packages
• As an extra collection purchaser, you will receive exclusive early pre-order access and a discount for colorways from our next two installments of the Middle Earth Imagined self-striping yarn collection, which will release in late November 2023 and early January 2024. (Collection prices have been amended slightly to account for not having discount access to the first two pre-orders that have already passed.)
• In order to provide you with your early access and discounts, you will be added to our newsletter mailing list so you can receive notice of these items (to be clear – early access mailings and discounts will go out only to A Middle Earth Winter customers, not to our entire mailing list). • We will use the email address associated with your Holiday Countdown Collection order for the mailing list – if you do not check that email regularly, please contact us at [email protected] and let us know your preferred email address for your mailings. By purchasing a 2023 Holiday Countdown Collection from us, you are agreeing to be added to our newsletter mailing list if you are not already on it. 

How will my collection items be packaged? Each day’s mini will be individually wrapped so everything will be a surprise! The daily minis will be numbered 1-24.

*Note – These bases begin as darker, oatmeal shades and so the colors dyed on them will be more muted than on the other bases, which are more of a natural white to begin with.
