Outdoorsy Yarn & Pattern Sets

With late winter offering some warmer days, the Outdoorsy Head Band and Neck Warmer becomes my favorite accessory! They’re so versatile when the weather gets warmer and a full hat or scarf might be too much. Quick and easy to make, they make great teacher gifts or a little something to share with a good friend! Keep on in your bag, your car, or your bicycle, or wherever you might find yourself in need of a little warmth while enjoying nature!

Outdoorsy can be worn four different ways: Wear it folded over as a reversible head band to keep your ears warm. Pull it up over your head at its full width for ear warmth or to secure your hair in a breeze. Pull it down around your neck to catch the draft at the top of your jacket.

These Outdoorsy Yarn & Pattern Kits include two 20-gram fingering weight minis – one self-striping and one coordinating or complementary semi-solid – along with a digital download of my Outdoorsy pattern. (No physical copy of the pattern will come with the yarn.) Note that the pattern also includes instructions for making Outdoorsy in worsted weight too, though all of these sets are for the fingering weight version.

Recommended care: Though these are all superwash yarns and can be machine washed, we recommend hand washing in cool water and then air dry flat.

All of our yarns and fibers are individually hand-dyed using professional grade acid dyes. Colorway names are consistent between yarns/fibers dyed with the same dye colors, however color strengths can (and likely will) vary between skeins and between different bases.

We make every effort to assure the colors in our photos are as accurate as possible, but please note that colors can vary from monitor to monitor.
