The Tekusucha Cowl was designed by Lisa Cannon of Fibernymph Dye Works in 2012, and our yarn and pattern kits for it have been customer favorites ever since! Alas, the time has come to retire these sets, though the pattern will remain available on Ravelry. We’re listing the last our available Tekusucha kits here, The sample in the first picture was knit in our Magic Carpet colorway, which we regret that we do not have available. See the drop down above to choose the gradient of your choice.
The yarn in the kit will make either the short, wide version of the cowl or the long, narrow version. Both design versions are included in the pattern.
This kit includes a pattern download code that is redeemable on Ravelry, as well as a four-color gradient dyed on our Bona Fide DK base, 100% SW Merino, 231 yards each.
This is a superwash yarn, so it can be gently machine washed on cool, using a gentle wool wash. However, we recommend hand washing any hand-dyed yarn using cool water and gentle wool wash. Air dry flat.
All of our yarns and fibers are individually hand-dyed using professional grade acid dyes. Colorway names are consistent between yarns/fibers dyed with the same dye colors, however color strengths can (and likely will) vary between dye batches and between different bases.
We make every effort to assure the colors in our photos are as accurate as possible, but please note that colors can vary from monitor to monitor.
