When the weather starts to get chilly, the only thing more cozy than a hand knit sweater is flannel! Whether it’s your favorite flannel shirt or a big flannel blanket to wrap up in at the game, this fabric is hard to beat.

Grab Your Flannel! is our 2023 Pigskin Party exclusive colorway. It features seven muted fall shades of your favorite flannel wear — Dark Red, Deep Sapphire, Firey Orange, Dark Hunter, Autumn Gold, Shadow Purple, and Plaid Black/Gray.

We are offering Grab Your Flannel! as a self-striping colorway, a mini skein set, and as two different fiber configurations. Read on for details of each, and then choose from the drop down menu above to pick which item(s) you’d like to order.

SELF-STRIPING

Grab Your Flannel! is a seven stripe colorway featuring six wide stripes of Dark Red, Deep Sapphire, Firey Orange, Dark Hunter, Autumn Gold, and Shadow Purple, each separated by a wee stripe of Plaid Black/Gray, mimicking the plaid offset in many of these fabulous fabrics.

Each pre-ordered skein of Grab Your Flannel! self-striping will come with a bonus mini in the coordinating color of our choice!

Grab Your Flannel! is shown on Bounce and Mountain Tweed BFL; the sample is knit in Bounce. It is available for pre-order on the following bases:

The Grab Your Flannel! mini skein set includes seven 20-gram minis, one in each of the seven Grab Your Flannel! colors. The mini set shown is on our Bounce base.

FIBER

Grab Your Flannel!  is available in two different fiber configurations: a 4 oz. variegated braid and a Spinning Set.

The 4 oz. braid is a highly variegated version of the Grab Your Flannel! colorway. The sample is shown on Polwarth/Silk.

The Spinning Set includes seven one-ounce mini bumps of fiber, one each of the Grab Your Flannel! colors. The sample is shown on Mixed BFL.

Recommended care for yarn: Though these are superwash wools and can be machine washed, we recommend hand washing in cool water and then air dry flat.

Recommended care for fiber: Hand wash only in cool water; air dry flat. These fibers will felt. Note that a minor amount of residual dye may be released from the fiber in the first couple of soaks. This is normal and should not affect the color of the overall spun yarn.

All of our yarns and fibers are individually hand-dyed using professional grade acid dyes. Colorway names are consistent between yarns/fibers dyed with the same dye colors, however color can (and likely will) vary between skeins and between different bases.

We make every effort to assure the colors in our photos are as accurate as possible, but please note that colors can vary from monitor to monitor.
