Blue Jay is a colorway from our 2021 Backyard Birdwatchers Club, and now it’s making its general shop debut!
Blue Jays are raucous and you always know when they’re at the feeder! This colorway features five stripes in the blues and neutrals most prominent in this noisy guy. The sample in the first image was knit from our Traveler sport weight base with skeins in Bounce and Mountain Tweed BFL. The second image is an inspiration photo of the Blue Jay.

Recommended care: Though these are superwash wools and can be machine washed, we recommend hand washing in cool water and then air drying flat.
All of our yarns and fibers are individually hand-dyed using professional grade acid dyes. Because of their hand-dyed nature, colorways can (and likely will) vary somewhat between skeins, between different bases, and between dye batches. If you are purchasing more than one skein of the same colorway to be used together in a project, please leave a note with your order letting us know so we can assure your skeins are from the same batch.
We make every effort to assure the colors in our photos are as accurate as possible, but please note that colors can vary from monitor to monitor.
