In order to develop new colorways, we sometimes need to try out various color schemes without the commitment of it being a final colorway design. However, since there isn’t anything wrong with the skeins that result from this practical research process, we thought you might enjoy having a chance to work with them regardless of whether or not they make the cut to join our colorway line up in the future!

This test colorway is designed with five stripes of blues and purples. The second image shows a representation of how this colorway stripes. This is likely to be a one-time version of this colorway.
Note that this was a VERY hard colorway to capture accurately in the photo, and the colors are a bit brighter than they are showing up. The colors in the second image are closer to the actual colors of the yarn.
Blue/Purple Test is available on the following bases:
Bounce – fingering, 80/20 SW Merino/Nylon, 400 yards per 100-gram skein
Bona Fide – DK, 100%SW Merino, 231 yards per 100-gram skein
Recommended care: Though these are superwash yarns and can be machine washed, in order to best preserve the integrity of the colors over time, we recommend hand washing in cool water and then air drying.
All of our yarns and fibers are individually hand-dyed using professional grade acid dyes. Colorway names are consistent between yarns/fibers dyed with the same dye colors, however color strengths can (and likely will) vary between skeins and between different bases.
We make every effort to assure the colors in our photos are as accurate as possible, but please note that colors can vary from monitor to monitor.
