Our Color Play #2 Collection celebrates jewel-toned shades with subtle complexities of depth. Each of these self-striping skeins features a five-stripe repeat of the Color Play #2 colors – Frost, Bronzed Gold, Ocean, Soot, and Winter Red.
The sample was knit in our Bounce base, 60 stitches on US1 needles.
Shown on Bounce, Color Play #2 Self-Striping is currently being restocked in the following bases:
Bedazzled – fingering, 75/20/5 SW Merino/Nylon/Stellina, 438 yards per 100 gram skein
Mountain Tweed – fingering, 85/15 SW BFL/Nylon Nepp, 438 yards per 100 gram skein
Traveler – sport, 80/20 SW Merino/Nylon, 328 yards per 100 gram skein
There are also two Traveler skeins being offered at a discount due to a dye anomaly in the Frost (light blue) stripe. A minor amount of Bronzed Gold dye bled into the Frost stripe during the dyeing process, thus there may be some mildly mottled spots in the Frost stripes.
Recommended care: Sunshine and Pouf are superwash wools and can be machine washed, though hand washing in cool water and air drying them flat is recommended for all hand-dyed yarns and fibers. Floof and the Camel/Silk, however, are more delicate luxury bases, and we recommend exclusively hand washing them in cool water and then air drying flat.
All of our yarns and fibers are individually hand-dyed using professional grade acid dyes. Colorway names are consistent between yarns/fibers dyed with the same dye colors, however color can (and likely will) vary between skeins and between different bases.
We make every effort to assure the colors in our photos are as accurate as possible, but please note that colors can vary from monitor to monitor.
