These shortie sock sets were a test dye batch for a possible new winter colorway. They feature a 50-gram self-striping skein that has two equal width stripes – one in a wintry blue and the other with speckles of blues, purple, and gray on a white background. Each striping skein is paired with two 20-gram minis, one each of lavender and pale blue-gray.
While we do not have a sample of this striping pattern to share with you, it will work up in the same way as our other speckled stripe colorways work…see the second and third pictures for examples in our Halloween Spookles colorway and our Leaf Litter colorway.
These test sets are available and ready to ship on:
Bounce – fingering, 80/20 SW Merino/Nylon, 200 yards per 50-gram skein; plus two 20-gram minis, 80 yards each.
Traveler – sport, 80/20 SW Merino/Nylon, 164 yards per 50-gram skein; plus two 20-gram minis, 65 yards each.
Recommended care: Though these are superwash wools and can be machine washed, we recommend hand washing in cool water and then air dry flat.
All of our yarns and fibers are individually hand-dyed using professional grade acid dyes. Colorway names are consistent between yarns/fibers dyed with the same dye colors, however color can (and likely will) vary between skeins and between different bases.
We make every effort to assure the colors in our photos are as accurate as possible, but please note that colors can vary from monitor to monitor.
