*Exclusive!* 2022 DCS You’re Mer-Mazing! Yarn/Bag/Stitch Marker Kits!

FDW is happy to be a Pro Shop Sponsor again this year for the Down Cellar Studio Splash Pad Party event! Get extra points for prizes when you use the items in this Exclusive 2022 SPP You’re Mer-Mazing Yarn, Bag, and Stitch Marker Kit!

This kit is a collaboration between FDW and AdoreKnit.

The kits include:

Yarn – A 100-gram skein/400 yards of You’re Mer-Mazing! on our 80/20 SW Merino/Nylon Bounce, as well as two coordinating minis, 20-gram/80 yards each. You’re Mer-Mazing! is a five stripe colorway in varying sizes of teals, pinks, and yellow. The minis are Mermaid’s Hair Pink and Whale’s Tale Teal.

Project Bag – AdoreKnit’s Equator bag is a medium sized bag, made to a minimum of 8” high, 12” wide at the zippered top, with a rectangular bottom of 8” by 4”, which will fit three skein projects. Bags are made from 100% high quality cotton fabric with light yet supportive interfacing and feature a wrist strap. Zippers feature a silver mermaid tail zipper pull.

Two different bag options are available (see third gallery picture of a peek at the interior fabrics):

• Dark Teal exterior fabric with whale tale/wave interior fabric; white zipper.
• Light Teal exterior fabric with light and dark teal mermaid scale interior fabric; pink zipper.

Please note that fabric placement may vary slightly from bag to bag.

Stitch Markers – Progress Markers/Keepers are a custom design made by AdoreKnit based on the Mer-Mazing pink haired mermaids on the bag fabric! The stitch markers include a iridescent mermaid-pink heart shaped beginning-of-round marker as well as 12 iron coated stitch markers in soft sea green (6) and mermaid pink (6). They carry lustrous beads of deep forest green, aqua, and hot pink. Fits needle sizes: Large 5-8 US (3.75-5mm).

Don’t need the whole kit? All items are available individually! The yarn is available on a number of our popular bases in the You’re Mer-Mazing! Self-Striping listing. A variety of AdoreKnit’s You’re Mer-Mazing! bags and stitch markers are available in their shop.

Recommended care for yarn: Bounce is a superwash yarn and can be machine washed, though we recommend hand washing in cool water and then air drying flat.

Recommended care for bag: If you need to wash your bag, please wash in cold water and air dry.

All of our yarns and fibers are individually hand-dyed using professional grade acid dyes. Colorway names are consistent between yarns/fibers dyed with the same dye colors, however color can (and likely will) vary between skeins and between different bases.

We make every effort to assure the colors in our photos are as accurate as possible, but please note that colors can vary from monitor to monitor.
