Game Night Collection 2 is finally here! Six new self-striping colorways inspired by your favorite game night games and activities. Still stuck at home? Grab a game and some game inspired yarn and have some fun!
This GNC2 colorway is called Checkmate, inspired by the classic game of chess. This four stripe colorway features two wide stripes in the dark and light wood colors of the chess board, alternated with two narrow stripes of black and ivory for the chess pieces. The third picture is a representation of how this colorway stripes.
Checkmate is shown in the second picture on Bounce and Mountain Tweed (which starts out as an oatmeal-colored base, thus colors dye up a bit darker and more muted on it).
Currently in stock:
Bounce – fingering, 80/20 SW Merino/Nylon, 400 yards per 100-gram skein
Want this colorway on a base that isn’t in stock? Feel free to contact us through our Special Order Request form and we’ll be happy to dye it up for you if we are able!
Recommended care: Though these are superwash wools and can be machine washed, we recommend hand washing in cool water and then air drying flat.
All of our yarns and fibers are individually hand-dyed using professional grade acid dyes. Because of their hand-dyed nature, colorways can (and likely will) vary somewhat between skeins, between different bases, and between dye batches. If you are purchasing more than one skein of the same colorway to be used together in a project, please leave a note with your order letting us know so we can assure your skeins are from the same batch.
We make every effort to assure the colors in our photos are as accurate as possible, but please note that colors can vary from monitor to monitor.
