We are so excited to introduce our Signature Series of colorways! This collection of five self-striping colorways feature those colors that are integral components to many of our colorways…we couldn’t design our yarns without them, so let’s celebrate them!

This listing is for our Signature Pi Self-Striping colorway. This colorway is slightly different than the other four Signature colorways, as it is made up of a “dyer’s choice” collection of colors – one from each of the other for Signature colorways plus one true “Dyer’s Choice!” color that didn’t make it into any of the other colorways! Additionally, some of these colors were modified by dyer’s choice in order to create a cohesive palette for you to enjoy!
Signature Pi features Winter Red (from the Jewel Tones), Bark (a modification of Sand and Wisp from the Neutrals), Toxic Green (from the Brights, modified to tone it down just a smidge), Vivid Violet (our Dyer’s Choice color!), and Warm Honey (from the Earth Tones). All pre-ordered skeins of Signature Pi will come with a bonus 20-gram mini in a sixth dyer’s choice coordinating color!
Also, like all of our Pi Day colorways, the striping pattern is based on the numeric sequence of pi – 3.141592…, which is a non-repeating number. Thus, the stripe sequence does not repeat within the skein, and you will not be able to get a matching pair of socks (or anything) from a single skein. But if you’re a math geek, that’s part of the fun! We include a stitch marker affixed to the beginning of the sequence (Winter Red) so you can start your project with the first Pi digit, if you’d like to! Note that anywhere in the sequence where a zero occurs, the corresponding stripe is skipped, and the color progression will reflect that.
The sample shown was knit out in our Bounce base; skeins shown are Bounce (top) and Mountain Tweed BFL (bottom).

Bounce – 80/20 SW Merino/Nylon, 400 yards per 100-gram skein
Bedazzled – fingering, 75/20/5 SW Merino/Nylon/Silver Stellina, 438 yards per 100-gram skein
*Mountain Tweed BFL – fingering, 85/15 SW BFL/Donegal Nep (nylon), 438 yards per 100-gram skein
*Heavenly – fingering, 80/10/10 SW Merino/Cashmere/Nylon, 435 yards per 100-gram skein
Strong DK – DK, 75/25 SW Merino/Nylon, 245 yards per 100-gram skein
*Note: Mountain Tweed BFL skeins will come with a Mountain Tweed Merino Fingering 20-gram bonus mini; Heavenly skeins will come with a Dream MCN 20-gram bonus mini.
Recommended care: Though these are superwash yarns and can be machine washed, we recommend hand washing in cool water and then air dry flat.
All of our yarns and fibers are individually hand-dyed using professional grade acid dyes. Colorway names are consistent between yarns/fibers dyed with the same dye colors, however color can (and likely will) vary between skeins and between different bases.
We make every effort to assure the colors in our photos are as accurate as possible, but please note that colors can vary from monitor to monitor.
