Every dyer needs a play day in the studio now and then. While tidying up the studio and sorting through my stripe pattern inventory, I pulled out the random sets that didn’t have a lot of mates and decided to dye them up, creating colorways on the fly for this Serendipitous Stripes update! While the colors included in each skein are provided below, how the colors will work up – stripe order and size – will remain a mystery for you to discover when you use it!
All of these colorways are considered one of a kinds. They might inspire future colorways, but they won’t be re-dyed the way they are here, so if you see one you like, grab it while it’s here!
OOAK #7 is a three stripe colorway with two semi-solid stripes of Pumpkin and Flamingo and a variegated stripe of Bright Green, Lemon, and Toxic Green.
It is available ready to ship on the following bases:
Bounce – fingering, 80/20 SW Merino/Bamboo, 400 yards per 100-gram skein
Beguiled – DK, 75/20/5 SW Merino/Nylon/Silver Stellina, 231 yards per 100-gram skein
Recommended care: Though these are superwash wools and can be machine washed, we recommend hand washing in cool water and then air dry flat.
All of our yarns and fibers are individually hand-dyed using professional grade acid dyes. Colorway names are consistent between yarns/fibers dyed with the same dye colors, however color strengths can (and likely will) vary between skeins and between different bases.
We make every effort to assure the colors in our photos are as accurate as possible, but please note that colors can vary from monitor to monitor.
