We’re adding a fun new tweed base to our line up: Confetti Tweed Merino DK! Unlike our other tweed bases, this one features colorful tweed bits of red, blue, green, and yellow, which do not take the dye that the merino base of the yarn does, so the tweedy bits remain bright pops of color in your creations!
Confetti Tweed Merino DK is an 85/15 SW Merino/Colored Donegal Nep (nylon) yarn, 231 yards per 100-gram skein.
For this introductory listing, we’ve dyed up six semi-solid colors that we thing show off this cheerful nature of this yarn, three neutrals – Shifting Sands, Ash, and Creme Soda – and three brights – Seafoam, Surf, and Strawberry Creme.
We also have a few test skeins that are not the same shades as the ones listed above, so they will be available at a slight discount as separate options:
Test Green
Test Gray #1
Test Gray #2
The sample hat that is shown in the second picture was knit with Shifting Sands. Pattern is Decorum, by Hunter Hammersen.
Recommended care: Though these are superwash wools and can be machine washed, we recommend hand washing in cool water and then air dry flat.
All of our yarns and fibers are individually hand-dyed using professional grade acid dyes. Colorway names are consistent between yarns/fibers dyed with the same dye colors, however color can (and likely will) vary between skeins and between different bases.
We make every effort to assure the colors in our photos are as accurate as possible, but please note that colors can vary from monitor to monitor.
