Remember going to summer camp and the disappointment of a rainy day? No swimming, no outdoor games. But there were the arts counselors to save the day, bringing out the tie-dye to make things colorful and fun!
The Rain Clouds & Tie-Dye Collection was inspired by my own childhood memories of this art rescue for a rainy camp day. These variegated skeins feature the warm tie-dye colors of magenta, bright orange, and pickle juice found in one stripe of the self-striping version of colorway.
Shown left to right, this colorway is available on the following bases:
Sunshine – light fingering, 100% SW Merino, 490 yards per 100-gram skein
Pouf – fingering slub base, 90/10 SW Merino/Nylon, 438 yards per 100-gram skein
Floof – laceweight, 72/28 Kid Mohair/Silk, 459 yards per 100-gram skein
***Edited 8/15 at 10:20 a.m. – I just added a limited number of Dye-to-Order listings for all three of these bases as well,
in case they sell out and you missed them! They’ll ship within four weeks.***
Recommended care: Though this is a superwash wool and can be machine washed, we recommend hand washing in cool water and then air drying flat.
All of our yarns and fibers are individually hand-dyed using professional grade acid dyes. Because of their hand-dyed nature, colorways can (and likely will) vary somewhat between skeins, between different bases, and between dye batches. If you are purchasing more than one skein of the same colorway to be used together in a project, please leave a note with your order letting us know so we can assure your skeins are from the same batch.
We make every effort to assure the colors in our photos are as accurate as possible, but please note that colors can vary from monitor to monitor.
