Once again, we’ve teamed up with the fabulous Bags By Awesome Grannie to bring you three limited-edition, autumnal-themed yarn and bag sets! These sets are ready to ship and are now marked 20% off their retail price.
This What Big Hooters You Have! set features one of Darlene’s medium-sized project bags featuring a flock of super large, and whimsically expressioned owls. The yarn, a five-stripe colorway, has been designed to coordinate with the Hooters bag and features four semi-solid stripes and one stripe that is variegated in black, white, and gray. The last image shown is a representation of how this colorway may stripe in an adult, sock-sized project. Note that the variegation of the black/white/gray stripe will be much more subtle when knit than is possible to represent here graphically.
There will only be eight What Big Hooters You Have! sets available. Four sets will include the yarn on our Bounce base, and four will include our Bedazzled base.
About the bag: The medium-sized bag measures: 12″ long, 7″ tall, 4″ wide. The bag pictured is an example of the bag you will receive, using the same style, fabric prints, and material colors shown. However, the fabric pattern placement may vary on each item produced. Heavy YKK Zippers are used in all bags. All bags are made out of 100% high quality cotton fabric and include a medium weight interfacing. Fabric is not pre-washed; if you wash your bag, please wash in cold water and air dry or dry in a cool dryer, iron with medium heat.
About the yarn: We are offering the yarn for this set on two bases – Bounce, 80/20 SW Merino/Nylon, fingering weight, 400 yards; and Bedazzled, 75/20/5 SW Merino/Nylon/Stellina, fingering weight, 436 yards. Both yarns are superwash and may be machine washed on gentle with cool water and a gentle wool wash, however we recommend caring for all hand-dyed yarns by hand washing in cool water, with a gentle wool wash. Air dry flat.
We make every effort to assure the colors in our photos are as accurate as possible, but please note that colors can vary from monitor to monitor.
