This was my exclusive colorway for the Down Cellar Studio Pigskin Party in 2018.
There are two ways to know that fall is coming. One, the leaves start to change colors, and two, football season starts!
Signs of the Season is a subtle fall self-striping that alternates football brown stripes with three leaves-in-change variegated stripes, each with a shade of green morphing into either red, orange or gold. It’s like a fall pick-up football game in the park for your feet! Or hands. Or head. The second photo shows our original listing photo with a sample of the colorway knit up on our Bounce base.
This colorway is available on the following bases:
- Bedazzled – fingering, 75/20/5 SW Merino/Nylon/Stellina, 438 yards (Left)
- Traveler – sport, 80/20 SW Merino/Nylon, 328 yards (Right)
Recommended care: Though these are superwash wools and can be machine washed, we recommend hand washing in cool water and then air dry flat.
All of our yarns and fibers are individually hand-dyed using professional grade acid dyes. Colorway names are consistent between yarns/fibers dyed with the same dye colors, however color strengths can (and likely will) vary between skeins and between different bases.
We make every effort to assure the colors in our photos are as accurate as possible, but please note that colors can vary from monitor to monitor.
