My husband has kept a tank of freshwater fish for years. The tank is in our bathroom (weird maybe, but it keeps the cats away), and I love sitting on the bench across from it and watching them swim around, darting and chasing. They’re beautiful and really relaxing. I also enjoy browsing online and in fish shops for possible “dream” additions for the tank. I recently learned of Asian arowanas, which come in a variety of colors, including a shimmery green variegated. I doubt that this is a fish we’ll be adding to our tank, but it inspired me to create this colorway in its honor.
This colorway is available on the following bases:
Bedazzled – fingering, 75/20/5 SW Merino/Nylon/Stellina, 438 yards (left)
Floof – lace weight, 72/28 Kid Mohair/Silk, 459 yards per 50 gram skein (right)
Recommended care: Sunshine and Bedazzled are superwash wools and can be machine washed, but we recommend hand washing in cool water and then air dry flat. Floof, being of delicate construction, we recommend hand washing only.
All of our yarns and fibers are individually hand-dyed using professional grade acid dyes. Colorway names are consistent between yarns/fibers dyed with the same dye colors, however color strengths can (and likely will) vary between skeins and between different bases.
We make every effort to assure the colors in our photos are as accurate as possible, but please note that colors can vary from monitor to monitor.
