These notes correspond to the projects shown in my Self-Striping Yarn: Beyond Socks! video, which debuted for the 2020 Yarn Sit hosted by McWalker’s Yarns in Millvale, PA.

In this video, I’m shared a large assortment of projects that you can make using self-striping yarns – other than socks! I also call out specific techniques you can use and effects you can achieve when incorporating self-striping yarns into your projects.

Below I’ve listed all of the projects I show, including links to patterns (when available) as well as the yarn used (colorway and yarn base are specified in that order). All projects shown here made using Fibernymph Dye Works superwash yarn, unless otherwise noted below.

Please note that some of the links to pattern sources will do to Ravelry pattern pages. I’ve marked these with an asterisk so you can avoid them if you are having accessibility issues with the new Rav site design. I have, however, included non-Rav links whenever possible. Also, my patterns are currently only available through Rav, but I am working on adding them to my own shop, which should hopefully be complete by the end of August 2020. If you’re interested in a pattern before that though and cannot navigate Rav, please email me at [email protected] and I’ll be happy to set up a direct sale option for you.
