Serendipity colorways are non-repeatable and dyed in limited quantities. They’re a chance for me to have some low-pressure fun in the studio! This current batch is a little different than my usual serendipity colorways, as they are all inspired by some of my favorite summertime pictures, which are also included in the listing. Because of these inspirations, I’ve given these colorways names, which I don’t usually do for serendipity colorways. I hope you’ll enjoy these summery offerings!

All of the Greens was inspired by the rich variety of greens that surround me here at the mountain house. I look at the trees and the grass and various plants, and while I might initially think, “Green,” I look deeper and see just how many shades of green there are, sometimes in just one plant. It’s stunning. This tonal colorway include Light Moss Green, Hunter Green, Light Soft Green, Forest Green, and Lime Green. The inset in the first picture and the fourth image show the photos that inspired this colorway.
All of the Greens is available on 4 oz. braids of 100% Cheviot top. Note that two of these braids have some unintentional blue specking due to one of the darker green dyes breaking. (Visible in the third image.) While those areas will draft out and probably not be very noticeable, I am discounting them by 15% as “Oopsie!” braids because of this anomaly.

Recommended care: Soak your spun yarn in cool water with a gentle wool wash. Gently squeeze to remove excess water before hanging to dry. All of these fibers are NON-SUPERWASH. These fibers WILL FELT. Note that our fibers are dyed with professional grade dyes, heat set, and rinsed, but It is not uncommon for some residual dye to be released in the first couple of washes after spinning. Soaking in overly warm or hot water or for long periods of time will increase the chance of this happening.
We make every effort to assure the colors in our photos are as accurate as possible, but please note that colors can vary from monitor to monitor.
