Serendipity Stripes are non-repeatable colorways dyed in limited quantities. They’re a chance for me to have some low-pressure fun in the studio! The serendipity factor in these items is that you’ll know what colors are in the skein you’re ordering, but the striping pattern will be a surprise as you work with it. Note too that there may be differences in some striping patterns between bases offered for this batch of colorways, so please read the listings fully so you know what you’re ordering as much as is possible with serendipity colorways!
This current batch is a little different than my usual serendipity colorways, as they are all inspired by some of my favorite summertime pictures, which are also included in the listing. Because of these inspirations, I’ve given these colorways names, which I don’t usually do for serendipity colorways. I hope you’ll enjoy these summery offerings!

Summer’s Skies is a five-stripe colorway inspired by the amazing variety of blue shades that the sky can take on during summer. A variegated Denim Blue and Plain Vanilla stripe (representing those soft, cloudy skies) alternates with stripes of Light Blue, Atlantic Blue, Robin’s Egg Blue, and Light Navy. The inset in the first picture and the fourth gallery image show the photos that inspired this colorway.
Summer’s Skies is available in-stock on the following bases:
Bounce – fingering, 80/20 SW Merino/Nylon, 400 yd/100-gm
Optional add-on mini: You can choose to add a 20-gm Denim Blue mini skein (shown in the third image) to your order for a flat fee of $3.50.

Recommended care: Though these are superwash wools and can be machine washed, we recommend hand washing in cool water and then air dry flat.
All of our yarns and fibers are individually hand-dyed using professional grade acid dyes. Colorway names are consistent between yarns/fibers dyed with the same dye colors, however color can (and likely will) vary between skeins and between different bases.
We make every effort to assure the colors in our photos are as accurate as possible, but please note that colors can vary from monitor to monitor.
