In Stock: Mountain House Winter Self-Striping

Mountain House Winter is a perennial favorite from our Mountain House colorway collection! It features six wintry stripes celebrating the seasonal colors here at the mountain house and studio: white snow, red of the cardinals in the trees, green of our pines, brown logs of the house, gold of the fire in our fireplace, and pale gray from the smoke out the chimney. The second image is a graphic mock up of how this colorway stripes.

Bedazzled – Oopsie! – fingering, 75/20/5 SW Merino/Nylon/Silver Stellina, 438 yd/100-gm skein

*Oopsies!* – These skeins are marked “oopsie” skeins because there are some very, very light areas in the Pine Green stripe sections, more than we consider acceptable, even for a semi-solid stripe. We’ve marked these down 15% because of this anomaly.

Recommended care: Though these are superwash wools and can be machine washed, we recommend hand washing in cool water and then air dry flat.

All of our yarns and fibers are individually hand-dyed using professional grade acid dyes. Colorway names are consistent between yarns/fibers dyed with the same dye colors, however color strengths can (and likely will) vary between skeins and between different bases.
