As we’re now releasing our Lepidoptera Club, Part 2, colorways into the shop as part of our Pollinators Collection (pre-order listings here), we wanted to offer up some extra sets we had from the original club. Each contains the 100-gm self-striping colorway along with both of the original coordinating minis. There are only a couple of each colorway available, but they are in-stock and ready to ship.
Extra sets of Blue Morpho, Peacock Butterfly, and Orange Sulphur are available on both our Bounce and Mountain Tweed BFL bases. Make your colorway and yarn base choices from the drop down menus above. Please see the pre-order listings for full descriptions of each colorway. See the second image for examples of how each colorway stripes up. Samples were all knit out of our Traveler sport weight.
Yarn Base Information:
Bounce – fingering, 80/20 SW Merino/Nylon, 400 yards per 100-gram skein, plus 80 yd/20-gm mini
Mountain Tweed BFL – fingering, 85/15 SW BFL/Donegal Nepp, 438 yards per 100-gram skein; 87 yd/20-gm minis are on Mountain Tweed Merino Fingering, 85/15 SW Merino/Donegal Nepp
Recommended care: Though these are superwash wools and can be machine washed, we recommend hand washing in cool water and then air dry flat.
All of our yarns and fibers are individually hand-dyed using professional grade acid dyes. Colorway names are consistent between yarns/fibers dyed with the same dye colors, however color can (and likely will) vary between skeins and between different bases.
We make every effort to assure the colors in our photos are as accurate as possible, but please note that colors can vary from monitor to monitor.
