Welcome to the second colorway in our Middle Earth Imagined Collection!

Bilbo’s one-hundred and eleventieth birthday party was a grand affair, the whole of the Shire coming whether invited or not! When it came time for him to give his speech, Bilbo stood at the end of the pavilion, beneath the giant party tree. Colorful lights danced from the many lanterns, illuminating the tree from the bottom up to the darkest branches that reached to the night sky.

Under the Party Tree is a six stripe colorway featuring three wide stripes of the tree’s gradient-lit foliage – pale golden green at the bottom, mid-green, and then finally the darkest night-soaked leaves at the top. Between each are smaller stripes of bright blue-purple, yellow-gold, and shades of pink, the colors of the lanterns that lit the festivities on party night.

Recommended care for yarn: Though these are superwash wools and can be machine washed, we recommend hand washing in cool water and then air dry flat.

Recommended care for fiber: Hand wash only in cool water; air dry flat. These fibers will felt. Note that a minor amount of residual dye may be released from the fiber in the first couple of soaks. This is normal and should not affect the color of the overall spun yarn.

All of our yarns and fibers are individually hand-dyed using professional grade acid dyes. Colorway names are consistent between yarns/fibers dyed with the same dye colors, however color can (and likely will) vary between skeins and between different bases.
