Dye-to-Order: A Second Helping of Pi(e) Self-Striping

March 14th is not far off, and you know what that means! It’s almost Pi Day – 3.14!

In honor of this tasty holiday, we’re offering (for a limited time) several of our past Pi Day colorways as dye-to-order items. Our Pi Day gift to you is 10% off these colorways, no coupon needed! A Second Helping of Pi(e)’s five stripes represent the second five most popular flavors for pie:

Blueberry (deep purple)
Lemon Meringue (yellow)
Cherry (cherry pink)
Pumpkin (spiced orange)
Pecan (warm brown)

Like all of our Pi Day colorways, the striping pattern is based on the numeric sequence of pi – 3.141592…, which is a non-repeating number. Thus, the stripe sequence does not repeat within the skein, and you will not be able to get a matching pair of socks (or anything) from a single skein. But if you’re a math geek, that’s part of the fun! We include a stitch marker affixed to the beginning of the sequence so you can start your project with the first Pi digit, if you’d like to!

Recommended care: Though these are superwash wools and can be machine washed, we recommend hand washing in cool water and then air dry flat.

All of our yarns and fibers are individually hand-dyed using professional grade acid dyes. Colorway names are consistent between yarns/fibers dyed with the same dye colors, however color can (and likely will) vary between skeins and between different bases.

We make every effort to assure the colors in our photos are as accurate as possible, but please note that colors can vary from monitor to monitor.
