In Stock: Wild Atlantic Wildflowers

The Wild Atlantic Way along western Ireland is full of stunning scenery. In early springtime, bright wildflower blooms pop out along the coastal fields and rocky terrain. Despite the rugged landscape, these beautiful flowers thrive and bring with them a whole new element of beauty to the land.

Wild Atlantic Wildflowers is the second colorway in our Wild Atlantic Collection. It is a six-stripe colorway that was inspired by the bright flora that we saw scattered along the west coast of Ireland when we visited in Spring 2022. My favorites were the ones that seemed to burst out of nothing but hard, gray rock — a witness to grace and beauty alongside perseverance and determination!

Wild Atlantic Wildflowers features wide stripes of Deep Purple, Bright Yellow, Leafy Green, Magenta, and Vivid Blue, each alternating with a wee stripe of Limestone Gray.

The sample shown was knit in our Traveler base. The third image shows a collage of inspiration photos used to create the colorway.

Recommended care: Though these are superwash wools and can be machine washed, we recommend hand washing in cool water and then air dry flat.

All of our yarns and fibers are individually hand-dyed using professional grade acid dyes. Colorway names are consistent between yarns/fibers dyed with the same dye colors, however color can (and likely will) vary between skeins and between different bases.
