Twelve Days of Christmas features twelve stripes, each representing one of the gifts from the song, with a bit of artistic interpretation on my part for the colors:
A Partridge in a Pear Tree (Pear Green)
Two Turtle Doves (Soft Gray)
Three French Hens (Burnished Gold)
Four Calling Birds (Soft Gray-Blue)
Five Golden Rings (Warm Honey Gold)
Six Geese A-Laying (Brown-Gray)
Seven Swans A-Swimming (Blue…for the water they’re swimming in!)
Eight Maids A-Milking (White…for their aprons!)
Nine Ladies Dancing (Pink…for their tutus!)
Ten Lords A-Leaping (Charcoal Gray…for their jackets!)
Eleven Pipers Piping (Dark Green…for their outfits!)
Twelve Drummers Drumming (Red…for their drums!)
Recommended care: Though these are superwash wools and can be machine washed, we recommend hand washing in cool water and then air dry flat.
All of our yarns and fibers are individually hand-dyed using professional grade acid dyes. Colorway names are consistent between yarns/fibers dyed with the same dye colors, however color can (and likely will) vary between skeins and between different bases.
We make every effort to assure the colors in our photos are as accurate as possible, but please note that colors can vary from monitor to monitor.
