We’re excited to be a Pro Shop Sponsor once again for this year’s Pigskin Party sponsored by Down Cellar Studio! This year’s exclusive colorway is called No Place Like Home. No matter where we travel, it is always good to get back home to the comfort of the familiar. And no matter where you live, you’ll always have a sweet spot for your home town – and home town team!

No Place Like Home features six cozy stripes – three wide stripes of rust red, spruce green, and woodland brown, and three narrow stripes of light teal blue, soft gray, and light grassy green. This colorway was inspired by the adorable “No Place Like Home” fabric used by AdoreKnit for her 2021 Pigskin Party project bags (and if you’d like the full set – project bag, yarn, and coordinating stitch markers, you’ll find a limited quantity of them in a separate listing. This listing, however, is for the yarn only.)

Note that this is a dye-to-order listing, and your yarn will ship within 2-3 weeks of the time of ordering.

Mountain Tweed BFL – fingering, 85/15 SW BFL/Donegal Nepp (nylon), 438 yards per100-gram skein
Traveler – sport, 80/20 SW Merino/Nylon, 328 yards per 100-gram skein
Cozy – worsted, 100% SW Merino, 220 yards per 100-gram skein

Recommended care: Though these are superwash wools and can be machine washed, we recommend hand washing in cool water and then air dry flat.

All of our yarns and fibers are individually hand-dyed using professional grade acid dyes. Colorway names are consistent between yarns/fibers dyed with the same dye colors, however color can (and likely will) vary between skeins and between different bases.

We make every effort to assure the colors in our photos are as accurate as possible, but please note that colors can vary from monitor to monitor.
