In Stock: Around & About Yarn & Pattern Kits

The Around & About Hat showcases a colorful band of garter ridges in the midst of a snug fitting ribbed beanie or a slightly slouchy stockinette version. Five size options fitting toddlers through adults will make it easy to keep the whole family warm with colorful stripes going around and about their heads!

These Around & About kits include everything you need to make *two hats* using the three-contrasting-color option of the pattern:

• One full skein of Cozy, worsted weight, 100% SW Merino, 220 yards/100-grams
• Three mini skeins of Cozy, worsted weight, 100% SW Merino, 44 yards/20-grams, 132 yards total
• Download code and instructions for acquiring the Around & About pattern (note that the pattern is provided by digital download using the code in your kit; no paper pattern will be mailed to you)

*These kits include enough yarn to make two hats in most of the sizes; the largest size and the second-largest size, slouchy version, you’ll be able to make one of these plus one smaller hat.

The sample hat in the first picture, right, was made with the Fuchsia + Soft Black, Wisp, and Plain Vanilla kit. The hat on the left was one of our samples for the original two-color version of the hat in Soft Black and Raspberry. This listing is only for kits for the three contrast color version.  

Recommended care: Though this yarn is superwash and can be machine washed, we recommend hand washing your in cool water and then air drying flat.

All of our yarns and fibers are individually hand-dyed using professional grade acid dyes. Colorway names are consistent between yarns/fibers dyed with the same dye colors, however color strengths can (and likely will) vary between skeins and between different bases.

We make every effort to assure the colors in our photos are as accurate as possible, but please note that colors can vary from monitor to monitor.
