♥STAY♥ Donations

Throughout the month of September 2023, I offered ♥STAY♥, our National Suicide Prevention Month colorway, with the intention of donating $5.00 from the sale of each item to be split equally between two charities that work to eliminate suicide among at-risk populations: K9s for Warriors, which works with the veteran population; and The Trevor Project, which works with LGBTQIA+ youth.

Through your purchases of ♥STAY♥ last month, we raised $405.00 for this donation effort. THANK YOU.

I was honored and humbled to make these two donations. To The Trevor Project, I rounded up and sent a donation of $211.15, which also included funds to cover processing fees. To K9s for Warriors, I sent $202.50 from the ♥STAY♥ fundraiser plus $93.68 from sales of my Fluffy Hearts pattern and kits over the past few months. Rounding up, the total donation to this organization was $300.00. I’m posting the receipts from both organizations below.

September is over, but the need for suicide prevention never ends. If you or someone you know is in need of mental health assistance, please seek help. Last month, I put together a short list of general resources that are a good place to start. It is by no means exhaustive, but I hope it will provide a point of reference where needed.
