September is National Suicide Prevention Month. October is host to Mental Illness Awareness Week (10/6-12/24); National Depression Screening Day (10/10/24); World Mental Health Day (10/10/24); and ADHD Awareness Month (adolescents and young adults with ADHD are reported to be at higher risk of suicide and self-harm). I just received word this afternoon that the AFF organizer has made the hard decision to postpone the festival due to CDC recommendations amid coronavirus concerns. Originally scheduled to take place on April 4 & 5, Kelly is working to try and reschedule the event for later in the year. I’ll update my Events page as more information becomes available. Difficult times, everyone…stay safe and be kind.
