90% Knitting – Episode 360 – A Little Bit of Luck

Welcome, and thanks for watching Episode 360! Below, you’ll find show notes with embedded time stamps and links to project pages, patterns, and other things I’ve mentioned. I use non-Ravelry links when possible, but any link preceded by an asterisk means that it does go to Ravelry, so be aware of that if Rav is not an accessible place for you. All of my contact/website/social media info is listed at the end of the show notes!

This week’s episode has a slightly different order of content, as I have an informal chat followed by an announcement about donations I’ll be making to help two Texas relief organizations. If you’d like to skip to the knitting though, feel free to jump to 16:16 in the video! 🙂
Also, the card deck I showed was The Moon Deck.

Intro

This episode starts with a “being real” chat about where I’m at with my day today, followed by a bit of shop news regarding my Throwback Thursday update that will take place tomorrow, 3/25, at 5 p.m. eastern. I’ll be donating $5 for each skein of the TBT update yarns sold, splitting the donation between the Houston Food Back and Mutual Aid Austin to help those who have been affected by the extreme weather conditions. Items for the update will be in the shop to preview by noon on Thursday.

I explain some guideline changes/clarifications, specifically with regard to the 50 gram minimum requirement (which I’ve mostly eliminated) and spinning.

41:48 Shop News
Throwback Thursday update – 2/25 at 5 p.m. eastern. TBT Colorway will be Leprechaun Socks, but I’ll also be offering some All That Was Green & Glorious as well as dye-to-order skeins of Four Leaf Clover semi-solid on a variety of bases. $5 from each skein of these three colorways donated between Houston Food Bank and Mutual Aid Austin.

The next regular update will be on Friday, 3/5 – this update will be dedicated to my Pi colorways. I’ll have my new 2021 Pi Day colorway ready to ship, along with some of last year’s Shepherd’s Pi(e). I will also be offering some of my other Pi colorways as dye-to-orders in this update.

February Backyard Birdwatchers Club shipments will be going out by Saturday this week.

Monthly Makes 2020 reward yarns will be (hopefully!) finished and going out by next week!
