90% Knitting – Episode 361 – Don’t Let Your Mind Be a Jerk to You

Welcome to Episode 361! Thanks for watching! Below, you’ll find show notes with embedded time stamps and links to project pages, patterns, and other things I’ve mentioned. I use non-Ravelry links when possible, but any link preceded by an asterisk means that it does go to Ravelry, so be aware of that if Rav is not an accessible place for you. All of my contact/website/social media info is listed at the end of the show notes!

The first installment of the Nature MALs is underway! The March/April theme is “Flora,” so any projects that you can relate is any way to flora open for entry into the MAL! Click on the Nature MAL link on the FDW website or the Nature MAL thread in the FDW group on Ravelry for all of the details, including the link to the Finished Object Submission Form.

28:06 – Shop News

I shared a bit about the week of setbacks I’ve had in the studio, which is putting me a bit behind on 2020MM prizes getting sent out and causing me to rework my plan for the shop in the next month. Thanks for your patience!

February Backyard Birdwatchers Club shipments went out last week!

Thanks to everyone who shopped my TBT update last week! We’ve raised at least $220 that will be divided and sent off to the Houston Food Bank and Austin Mutual Aid. I had some special orders related to the TBT update come in, so I need to figure out the final tally of donations, which I’ll announce next week!

The next shop update will be on Friday, 3/5, at 5 p.m. eastern. This update will feature in stock skeins of my 2021 Pi Day colorway, Fungi Pi(e), which I showed, as well as dye-to-order listings for several past Pi colorways, which will all be offered at 10% off – my Pi Day gift to you! 🙂

I realized after I’d already processed and was uploading the video that I didn’t actually SHOW the Fungi Pi(e) colorway again! Ugh! Sorry about that! :} If you didn’t watch the Works in Progress section though, you can jump to the 19:19 point in the video and see the colorway sample. There are also pictures in the newsletter that went out Thursday night and on the @fibernymphdyeworks IG feed.

35:46 – Things that are bringing me joy this week….

The shift in seasons…the change in light and energy as more signs of spring approach.
Also, making an effort to not put unreasonable pressure and expectations on myself. Remembering to take time to BREATHE in a conscious, mindful way. Finding things that I can let go of or put aside temporarily in order to lighten my load and less stressed.
