90% Knitting – Episode 366 – Well, at least there are socks….

Thanks for checking out Episode 366! Below, you’ll find show notes with embedded time stamps and links to project pages, patterns, and other things I’ve mentioned. I use non-Ravelry links when possible, but any link preceded by an asterisk means that it does go to Ravelry, so be aware of that if Rav is not an accessible place for you. All of my contact/website/social media info is listed at the end of the show notes!

28:08 – Nature MAL:

I announced the two prize winners of the Flora installment of the Nature MAL. If you were one of the winners, please email me at fibernymph AT gmail DOT com and let me know your full name and mailing info as well as your top two prize choices! We’re now in the Fauna part of the MAL, which will run May through June. Full guidelines for the MAL can be found in the FDW Blog or in the FDW Ravelry group Nature MAL thread (link below).

33:35 – I talked about the Down Cellar Studio Splash Pad Party event that begins the last weekend in May. I’m a pro shop sponsor for the event and will be doing a Zoom chat on Sat., May 29, at 2 p.m. eastern. Find all of the Splash Pad Party info here: http://www.downcellarstudio.com/splashpad21/

I also gave a sneak peek at my Splash Pad colorway for this year, which will be going up into the shop soon as a dye-to-order and then will be an in-stock offering by the kickoff weekend.

36:30 – Shop News

There will be a shop update on Friday, May 14, at 5 p.m. eastern. Included in this update: A big batch of Serendipitous Stripes skeins! I had fun in the studio one day recently and dyed up a lot of striping colorways that I’ve never done before, just creating them on the fly. There are only 2-4 skeins of each colorway on one or two bases, and they are being offered as one of a kinds at this point, so none will be named (they will be coded for labeling and listing purposes only though). Some may be re-created at a later time to be added to the regular shop line up, but if you see one that you love now, grab it!

Also in the shop on Friday will be a listing for custom dyed Pi skeins! You can create your own pi colorway by either telling me which five colors you’d like me to use, or by sending me an inspiration picture to use to create your pi colorway. You’ll have the option of a few different bases, and you can order your custom colorway either in a set of two full skeins, or as a single skein that will be divided into two twin half skeins.

I’ve also recently restocked many of the mini skein colors, and I’ve also gotten in restocks of a lot of notions, cards, and mugs. Check the shop for those now through Friday’s update!
