90% Knitting – Episode 367 – Out of Order

Welcome to Episode 367…thanks for watching! Below, you’ll find show notes with embedded time stamps and links to project pages, patterns, and other things I’ve mentioned. I use non-Ravelry links when possible, but any link preceded by an asterisk means that it does go to Ravelry, so be aware of that if Rav is not an accessible place for you. All of my contact/website/social media info is listed at the end of the show notes!

I talked about the Down Cellar Studio Splash Pad Party event that begins the last weekend in May. I’m a pro shop sponsor for the event and will be doing a Zoom chat on Sat., May 29, at 2 p.m. eastern. Find all of the Splash Pad Party info here: http://www.downcellarstudio.com/splashpad21/, and the Kickoff Weekend event schedule can be found at https://docs.google.com/document/d/1sxc0PIg0vl8PwtWYGGD5wg7HzSVCWkqWAB1SrRsquHE/edit

37:29 – Nature MAL – We’re now in the Fauna part of the MAL, which will run May through June. Full guidelines for the MAL can be found in the FDW Blog (https://www.fibernymphdyeworks.com/blog/events/2021-nature-mal-series/) or in the FDW Ravelry group Nature MAL thread (link below).

39:30 – Shop News

I shared some things that are still available in the shop since the last update. I don’t have another update scheduled yet but hope to do one in early June.

I talked about this year’s Holiday Countdown sets and that they’ll be available for pre-order directly in the shop this year. I’m planning on having them available beginning on June 1. Because of difficulties in getting the 10-gram minis that I normally use for my countdown collections, I’m altering the format of them this year and doing sets with 12 20-gram minis instead. For all of the details, please be subscribed to my newsletter so you’ll know when the listing is available in the shop. The newsletter sign up link is available in the top menu bar on the FDW website (link below).

48:45 – What’s Bringing Me Joy This Week

Nice warm weather; planting seeds in the garden with Emma; planning a five-day motorcycle trip with Bill for mid-June doing the second half of the Mid-Atlantic Backcountry Discovery Route that we started last summer.
