Checking In | Recuperative crafting
Hello! I’m so glad to be back to chat with you in my second week of recuperation from my hip replacement. Since it’s been a month since I’ve recorded, this is kind of long, but it’s also not a regular episode — it’s rather chatty and I won’t have all of the usual show notes with time stamps and links to project pages this time. I hope to get back to the normal format next time! Meanwhile, if you have questions about anything in the video, feel free to leave a comment or email me, and I’ll be happy to try and answer!

Shop News — I’m not back to work yet, other than packing orders as they come. To that end, I am offering free US shipping and $5.00 off all international orders of two items or more throughout the month of March. As I mentioned, I have some things I dyed before my surgery that I never got reskeined or listed in the shop. They’ll be coming in April.
Crafting (fiber crafts start around the 8:00 mark; non-fiber arts stuff starts around the 33:00 mark) — Some of the projects I showed you’ve seen before and can find project pages on Rav or My Favorite Day project blog. Others are new or are non-fiber related and don’t have pages. Most aren’t really updated right now.
The one project I want to point out is a segment I recorded back before my surgery but never got to upload, and that is my full recap about my Hog Island spinning project. I added that to the end of the project part of the episode around the 47:00 mark.
Life chatter (mostly about my surgery and recovery) is at the end, starting around one hour mark.
